Equipment installations of increasing complexity are being specified for use in homes, commerce and industry.  Control and monitoring of the diverse range of products typically in use today often calls for a type of system which can communicate with one or more systems and present information in a straightforward and unified manner.

Typically, such systems allow values and commands from the disparate subsystems to be presented on a single web page or a touch screen. Information can often be routed via the internet to facilitate remote access.

It is possible to bring together heating and ventilation controls, underfloor heating manifolds, air conditioning systems, multiroom audio and video systems, Hi Fi and cinema equipment etc etc all under the control of a single ‘management layer’ system.  Multiple remote controls, or product specific software interfaces are often no longer required.
